In July 2010, Nanjing High Accurate Gear Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: High Accurate Company), a subsidiary of Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: NGC), independently R & D the first shiftable reducer for horizontal- vertical converting, which was installed and commissioned in a domestic steel company and was formally put into use. Up to now, it has been running in a good condition for nearly four months.
As the key equipment of bar production lines, the shiftable reducer for horizontal- vertical converting R&D by High Accurate Company adopted advanced gear processing technology and optimized structure during the design processing. The problems of strong vibration and high bearing temperature occurred in common horizontal- vertical converting reducers were effectively solved.
Currently, the ratio of each horizontal- vertical converting reducer in bar production lines of steel companies is fixed, so only certain kinds of specifications of steel can be rolled. When rolls steel in other specifications, the existing equipment must be transformed. In addition, different reducer vehicles have different ratios, so its spare parts are also different. How to make one production line produce more specifications of steel and reduce its spare reserves become the issues of concern.
In order to solve these problems, High Accurate Company independently R&D the shiftable reducer for horizontal- vertical converting. The reducer has two optional ratios, which makes the corresponding bar production line produce more specifications of steel. Besides, because the same spare parts may be used on different vehicles of the reducer, the stocks are reduced.
The shiftable reducer for horizontal- vertical converting, which was successfully R & D and manufactured, meets the market demand and development. It will play a positive role in promoting the technology of bar equipments in the domestic.
