The Fifth China （Shanghai） International Wind Energy Exhibition (CWEE) was held from April 8th to 10th , 2011 in Shanghai new international exhibition centre. NGC presented its advanced products in the exbition, including 2MW wind turbine gearboxes, 1.5 MW yaw/ pitch-controlled system, 1.5MW wind power double fed converter and wind turbine pitch control system etc; and the intellectual property of which are owned by NGC.
This exhibition is jointly hosted by China Agriculture Machinery Industry Association (CAMIA) Wind Energy Branch (Wind Mechanical Association), Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) Renewable Energy Generation Committee and World Wind Energy Association (WWEA). Under the public concern and active participation from various sectors and industries, CWEE has become one of the largest and most professional exhibitions with its extensive reach in China.

As one of the biggest wind power transmission manufacturers in the world, NGC has over forty years experience in this field. We have established good cooperation with well-known companies, such as GE, Nordex, Repower, Alston, Sinovel, Mingyang (Guangdong) Wind Power Group, Shanghai Electric, Guodian United Power, Dongfang electric corporation etc. In 2010, we kept a rapid growth of our wind electric gearboxes with yearly sales revenue up to 5.458 billion yuan, increased by 43.4% compared to last year. In 2011, our company plans to expand the capacity to 12 thousand MW. In order to adapt the great changes of world wind energy industry, NGC aims to design and manufacture bigger and more diversified gearboxes. At present, A large domestic batch order for 3MW wind turbine gearboxes has been obtained and 5MW wind electric gearboxes are under the development.
